Austin Rocks!

You know the AM/PM slogan "Too much good stuff"? Well, that's exactly how I felt in Austin. So many bands to see in so little time -- literally, because most sets are 20 mins. Fortunately, Austin is a pretty easy town to navigate and walking from place to place is no problem. Getting through the crowds, and then in the door of clubs and tents is another challenge.

Highlights for me include seeing, The Temper Trap, Freeland, Juliette Lewis & The New Romantics, Janes Addiction and, The Very Best (Esau Mwamwaya & Radioclit).

If you haven't been to South By Southwest, definitely go. Fan, artist, promoter, whatever... there is something for everyone. I would highly recommend going to Austin sometime soon regardless of SXSW, just so you can eat at Guero's.

Winter Music Conference , A Dance Music Blast !

Last week (03/23/09-03/28/09) Miami Beach celebrated the 24th annual Winter Music Conference (WMC).
The WMC is probably the largest dance music festival in the world with more then 300 events and thousands of people partying during an incredible week. This year, WMC featured a non-stop schedule of day and night-time events showcasing legendary artists and DJs from over 70 countries including David Guetta, Armand Van Helden, Laurent Wolf, and Antoine Clamaran.
Moreover, this year once again The WMC and Ultra Music Festival have partnered. With more than 200+ artists/djs/producers, 40,000 music fans in attendance, and 10 stages, Ultra Music Festival is the largest music festival of it’s kind in the United States. Notable Ultra Fest performers included Tiesto, Prodigy, Santigold, The Presets and Boys Noize.
Nowhere other than WMC will you experience such diverse and unique talent all coming together to share one week of exclusive music industry events. Be sure to be there next Year!

Cazals smash Hollywood!!

If you blinked you probably missed it, but Cazals rocked LA for just one night (and one day at the Apple store).

The boys played DimMak's Tuesday night at Cinespace with Pigeon John's new group ROOTBEER.

It may have taken a while to pry the boys away from the poolside, and Phil magically recovered from food poisoning the day of the show, but the boys played fantastic and the place was packed!

Keep your eyes peeled for the Cazals US tour in June!!!

Thanks to TIGER TIGER ME for the great photos!!

Thom Browne gestapo style

Styled like bank clercks from the 50's these boys hit all the right buttons all over and make us all feel like we are not cool enough and probably wont, ever, be.
So pick up your shit and travel abroad and live the life you should have been living in the first place, you know, the one where you act out on everything you say and shed blood and get pissed drunk in the afternoon because you know it'll be fine.

Or simply purchase these fine clothes and become part of an East German all boy biology experiement gone awefully right, and thank god for communism, radical boy scouts, the inquisition and style.
